Improved medical facilities
Not only are there many nationally renowned general hospitals, but also an emergency medical care system known as the Hamamatsu Method
Hamamatsu has created an emergency medical care system through collaboration between the emergency medical team and medical institutions.
The system includes a night emergency room for primary emergencies (minor illnesses that do not require hospitalization or surgery), a 1.5 emergency room where doctors are on call at home, secondary emergencies handled by seven general hospitals on a rotating basis, and tertiary emergencies handled by three hospitals’ emergency medical centers. The hospital is the first in the country to establish this system.
This emergency medical care system, which was pioneered in Japan, is known as the “Hamamatsu Method” and realizes an emergency medical care system that is available 365 days a year, without holidays.
Comfortable living environments
Hamamatsu has a mild climate, with almost no snow on the plains even in midwinter.
It also has the most hours of sunlight in Japan.
Hamamatsu is blessed with an abundance of nature and seafood from the sea and mountains. Perhaps the comfortable livability of Hamamatsu raises the level of healthy life expectancy.
Exercise in nature
In addition to the mild climate, you can easily enjoy Suruga Bay, Lake Hamana, the Tenryu Forest Road, the Kosai Mountain Range, simple mountain climbing and hiking courses, cycling courses, and even marine sports.
Why not realize a comfortable senior life where you can enjoy both hobbies and meals because of your good health?
